Inside FIRST NOTE: The Premiere of Inspire Pro TS

A look inside the Tokyo premiere of Inspire Pro TS with Toshiki Soejima, exploring the collaboration behind the signature smart thinline guitar.

On September 14, 2026, ENYA MUSIC and Toshiki Soejima gathered at WALL&WALL in Omotesando, Tokyo, for FIRST NOTE, the premiere event of Inspire Pro TS.

More than a product launch, the event introduced the ideas behind Inspire Pro TS: a collaboration between Toshiki’s musical perspective and ENYA’s approach to creating new possibilities for guitar performance.

A Guitar Shaped by a Musician’s Perspective

Inspire Pro TS began with a simple idea: how can an instrument better support the way musicians create?

Known for his expressive playing style and unique approach to guitar, Toshiki Soejima worked closely with ENYA to develop an instrument that combines the familiarity of traditional guitar with the possibilities of modern technology.

From its thinline design and custom hardware to its integrated effects, DSP processing, speaker system, and touch interface, Inspire Pro TS was created to give players more control over their sound while keeping the focus on playing.

As Toshiki shared during the event:

“Having the sound come straight from the guitar, anytime, anywhere, with anyone... that opens up so many possibilities.”

For Toshiki, the ability to carry a complete sound experience directly with the instrument changes how musicians can approach practice, performance, and creativity.

Bringing Inspire Pro TS to Life

FIRST NOTE brought the ideas behind Inspire Pro TS into a real playing environment.

Guests experienced Inspire Pro TS firsthand, explored ENYA instruments, and learned more about the collaboration through product demonstrations, stage conversations, and live performances.

From the premiere presentation to Toshiki’s performance and the Fan Jam Session, the event was designed to bring musicians together through the shared experience of playing and creating music.

Sharing the Stage Through Fan Jam

One of the highlights of FIRST NOTE was the Fan Jam Session, where selected guitarists joined Toshiki on stage.

The session brought a more personal side to FIRST NOTE, giving players the opportunity to connect with Toshiki and share the stage through music.

A New Expression of Guitar Performance

FIRST NOTE was a chance to share the story behind Inspire Pro TS, bringing together the ideas, craftsmanship, and musical experiences that shaped the instrument.

By combining Toshiki’s musical vision with ENYA’s exploration of smart guitar technology, Inspire Pro TS reflects a different approach to what a guitar can offer musicians today.

It is an instrument designed not only to create sound, but to help players discover new ways to create, perform, and share music.

Thank you to Toshiki Soejima, the musicians, and everyone who joined us at WALL&WALL in Tokyo.
