I purchased this as a birthday present for my wife. My wife and I got the chance to play with it after, so here is our honest review. After spending some time with the Enya Inspire Smart Electric Guitar, we agree that it's one of the most innovative guitars we've played. It combines the feel of a modern electric guitar with smart technology that genuinely makes practicing and playing more enjoyable. One thing that impressed us was the carbon fiber body and neck. The guitar feels incredibly solid and durable, also it's lighter compared to a standard electric guitar which is a huge advantage. There is a built-in 15W speaker that is loud and clear enough for home practice, and it sound good right out of the box. There is a companion app where you can customize and select effects like reverb, delay, EQ, and modulation but the amplifier is only limited 2 two options for this model (deluxe clean and Dist100). I hope there will be more options to choose from. Overall, we would rate the Enya Inspire 8.5/10 based on our playing experience, my wife loved playing with it. The project Lou design was the deal maker for her since it resembles the a design of her favorite rock artist. It's an outstanding guitar that can be played right out of the box.

For the money it’s a really good guitar. It’s a good practice and an excellent travel guitar. The built in speaker makes it very convenient - no amp necessary. I’m sure I’ll practice more now. I wouldn’t play a concert with it but it’s good for just about anything else.

This is a great guitar love it so much! I can play it like an acoustic guitar on one setting and a normal electric guitar on another plus other modes. Speaker is easily loud enough for practicing or playing for people! Over all love the guitar 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Initially, I thought the packaging was insufficient. Guitar was moving around in the box. However upon opening the first box I saw the guitar was placed within another box and securely placed in the travel case. Everything was great upon inspection. I tuned the guitar which took a couple of retunes before settling in. Things are going great so far and I’m pleased with the purchase. I also think the guitar is quite gorgeous in gunmetal black.

Been fun to pick it up but lacks a lot of information on how to work the tech part of it.
Nice guitar, for novice like me, it was difficult to bring it calibrated with better string , road was strength right , on original set intonation was well done, a beginner will get more sound color with better string, i like the integrated little amplifier and speaker with multi effect, despite the autovibration of the cord due on speaker vibration it is a good guitar
I like the different sounds and experimental with my own sounds. I didn’t play for the last couple of years. My fingers hurt after about 45 minutes.

I’ve watched every video about this guitar I could find. It’s the first piece of gear I’ve gotten genuinely excited for in a long time. I have guitars that haven’t been out of the case in over a decade. I barely have the drive to turn an amp on and plug a guitar in once a month. I’ve no intention on playing any gigs or shows or even campfire music. I’m rusty as heck. This guitar gets me excited to play! Take it off the wall, tap a button and I’m jamming out having fun! The guitar is unbelievably well made. Where the neck meets the body is immaculate. The frets are like nothing I’ve ever seen. Crazy smooth like ball rounded ends. None of my guitars are like this. I’ve changed strings twice already cause my old hands need ultra light. Adjusting the tremolo was stupid easy. It came with 10’s, I swapped to 9’s, now I got 8’s. The truss rod also adjusts very easily. The gig bag it came with is very nice. Sorry to be gushing, I’m just happy with what I got. So my experience is saw a video. Then many videos. Got one for myself. Very happy with it. Hope this helps anyone decide.
The footswitch didn't connect - but I got a new one, which is working now.
I love the Inspire guitar and App! It beat my expectations. I love the tone customization in the app and the ability to play spotify or youtube tracks through the built-in amp.

Muy buena guitarra
My daughter loves the Iris guitar. So did I. So now I have one (purple version). I also ordered one for a friend (black version) who wants to learn to play. All three guitars were very good(consistent quality). As a guitar tech (and player) for over 10 years, I can say this is a really good guitar. Polished frets, no sharp fret ends, came with high quality Elixir strings. After the strings were broken in, tuning was very stable. Sounds really good through onboard speaker and plugged into a decent amp. Onboard effects are decent and customizable. The guitar and finish seem very durable. Plays great, even with low string action and minimal neck relief. Highly recommend for first guitar, given the price and the fact you won't grow out of it. Also great for intermediate and advanced players alike. Great for silent, home and on the go practice. Add just a pick and a tuner to carry with it and you are ready to practice anywhere, anytime. More practice time yields better skill results.

Does the Inspire footswitch have a looper function?
No. Enya Inspire footswitch is for presets switching, not for looping.
Is the battery replaceable? / Purchase spare components
Yes! All Enya smart guitars use replaceable batteries.
However, due to those are custom models, we do not suggest replacing with parts made by any other manufacturer, even with similar specs.
