Choosing Your Build: Inspire Pro SD vs. Inspire Pro AL

Pro Range Model Comparison

Choosing Your Build:
Inspire Pro SD vs Inspire Pro AL

To fully unleash the potential of smart electric guitars, Enya Music introduced two specific models to the Pro Range. While sharing the same structural acoustics, the main differences lie in their hardware configurations, which include the pickups, bridges, and body finishes.

Two Pickup Philosophies

The biggest difference between the two models begins with the pickup system.

Inspire Pro SD

The SD version features the renowned Seymour Duncan SSL + TB4 pickup set. This classic combination offers excellent articulation, focused mids, and a higher-output bridge pickup that performs confidently across virtually every genre—from clean passages to modern high-gain tones.

Inspire Pro AL

The AL version features custom pickups developed by ENYA Apex Lab, designed specifically for carbon fiber electric guitars. After extensive acoustic testing, the pickups were voiced with a carefully tuned frequency curve that emphasizes a rich, focused midrange while complementing the unique resonance of the carbon composite body.

Two Bridge Materials, Two Different Responses

SD | Titanium Bridge

Titanium is ultra-rigid and exceptionally lightweight. It transmits string harmonics into the carbon body with hyper-speed and zero absorption. This results in an incredibly clear, snappy high-end bite. Paired with our high-output Seymour Duncan USA pickup set, your leads will cut through any dense mix instantly.

AL | Brass Bridge

Brass possesses a higher physical mass and natural dampening qualities. It beautifully softens harsh, piercing high frequencies, focusing the tonal energy on a rich mid-range. Because it retains kinetic energy so well, your strings vibrate longer—giving the AL range a warm, analog character with exceptional sustain.

A Different Look, A Different Feel

The two models also feature different finishes. While the finish doesn't change the instrument's performance, it gives each version its own visual identity.

SD | Gloss Finish

The SD version comes in a gloss finish, highlighting the clean lines of the carbon composite body with a classic, polished appearance.

AL | Matte Finish

The AL version features a matte finish with Laser Radiance, creating a more understated look with subtle visual depth.
